Summary:International audience A new archeological survey has recently been undertaken, aiming to recover the remains of the monasteries of Bithynia using modern methods of investigation. The first campaing brought to light new details about the history of the two Medikion monasteries and also reopened the question of the location of Sakkoudion. Une nouvelle prospection a été entreprise pour rechercher systématiquement avec des moyens modernes les traces des monastères de Bithynie. Une première campagne a permis de renouveler l'histoire des deux monastères de Médikion et de poser à nouveau la question de la localisation de Sakkouddiôn.
