Summary: | This paper discusses an attempt to co-curate stone tools (lithics) found in the Mack Lithic Collection (MLC) with Illinois’ First Nation groups. Our research focused on ways we could incorporate a Traditional Owners perspective and voice into the interpretation of the MLC. To help support this research, we collaborated with multiple institutions, conducted a literature review, interviewed experts, and presented the results of our research at the Annual Conference of the Illinois Association for Advancement of Archaeology. Along the way, our questions changed, and we realized that there was no right answer, but a way to move forward. Faculty Sponsor - Dale Simpson
