Description
Summary:Abstract: This Regulatory Impact Review/Initial Regulatory Flexibility Analysis (RIR/IRFA) evaluates a suite of spatial closure alternatives, affecting groundfish fisheries, around the Pribilof Islands in the Bering Sea. These alternatives are being proposed to reduce prohibited species catch (PSC) of Pribilof Island Blue King Crab, (PBKC) which is presently in an overfished status, as part of a revised rebuilding plan and in order to enhance the long term sustainability of the PIBKC stock.
