Description
Summary:I would like to thank Professor Daniel Barbezat for so enthusiastically sup-porting and guiding my project, even after getting involved late in the game. I would also like to thank Professor Jessica Reyes for her critical help in the beginning stages of developing my topic and theoretical model. Professor Sami Alpanda added crucial insight on the econometric analysis, and Jeanne Reinle made the long hours working in the computer lab pleasant and cheerful. Countless people at New York City government agencies and non-profit orga-nizations took time out of their busy schedules to help me find relevant data and talk to me about my project. My research became much more meaningful after hearing personal insights on homelessness and domestic violence from professionals in the field. Finally, I’d like to thank my friends for more than tolerating all sorts of homelessness-related dinner conversations, and my family for supporting me along the way.
