Description
Summary:The objective of this paper is to take a closer look at the internal and external logistics methods and distribution channels used by the world’s northernmost beer brewery located in the arctic area of Norway. Through an extensive analysis we have studied the supply chain from the brewery production to delivery at the customers. In this study we have uncovered areas with improvement potential all along the supply chain. Facing aggressive marketing from competitors and tougher demands from customers, the brewery has to take out this potential in order to survive in the geographical huge and sparsely populated area which is their “home ” market.
