Summary:PREFACE This study was funded by the Fisheries Joint Management Committee (FJMC). I t was designed as a pilot project t o test the feasibility of using radio transmitter tags t o study the migrations of Arctic cisco in the southern Beaufort Sea coast and the Mackenzie River. The results of this study will contribute t o an understanding of the strengths and limitations of this technology t o enhance ongoing and future coastal studies conducted by the Department of Fisheries and Oceans.
