| Summary: | This paper is the first of a series dealing with the systematics of harpacticoid copepods collected in Iceland during several investigations of two small brackish water rock pools. Two new species of harpacticoid copepods, belonging to the genera Halectinosoma Lang, 1944 and Leptocaris T. Scott, 1899, i.e., Halectinosoma islandicum sp. n. and Leptocaris islandica sp. n., are described and figured. The status of the genus Leptocaris is discussed. RÉSUMÉ Le présent article est le premier d’une série de publications concernant la systématique des Harpacticoïdes provenant d’Islande pendant diverses prospections de deux petits étangs saumâtres rocheux. Deux espèces nouvelles de copépodes Harpacticoïdes appartenant aux genres Halecti-nosoma Lang, 1944 et Leptocaris T. Scott, 1899 sont décrites et figurés: Halectinosoma islandicum sp. n. et Leptocaris islandica sp. n. Le statut du genre Leptocaris est discuté. |
