RÉSUMÉ: Dans cet article, nous passons en revue la vie des saints et des saints aspirants de l’Islande médiévale, et notamment celle du roi de Norvège, Óláfr Tryggvason, et surtout celles des évêques islandais, Þorlákr Þórhallsson, Jón Ögmundarson et Guðmundr Arason. Nous considerons également les courants politiques et religieux qui ont fait que leur candidature soit acceptée ou refusée. |
