| Summary: | This thesis is based upon five papers concerning lubrication with oil and refrigerant mixtures used as lubricants in rolling element bearings in refrigeration compressors. The presented research was carried out at Luleå University of Technology at the Division of Machine Elements. I would like to thank my supervisor, Dr. Ove Isaksson, for his help, discussions and encouragement.
