SLNSMLnN The Bras d70r Lakes are saltwater bodies located in Cape Breton Island in Nova Scotia, Canada, whose saline character derives from connections to the North Atlantic. Six surveys of the Bras d'Or Lakes were conducted between 1995 and 1997 to provide basic information on the chemical oceanography of the Lakes. A preliminary survey was conducted in September, 1995, followed by three more comprehensive surveys in the spring, summer and fall of 1996. Two additional surveys were conducted in spring and fall
