1. Present the international profile of NAFO – a model of international collaborative research, management and cooperation. 2. Keynote The legal framework within which capture fisheries will operate in the future – Develop-ment of UNCLOS 1982, Agenda and FAO code of conduct of responsible fishing. Keynote Sustainability – ecological impact from fisheries – the political environmental issue and how this may affect the future of capture fisheries.
