Kingdom to a position south of Iceland during this period. Tropical storm Wanda, east of Hawaii, was shortlived, As a result the depressed westerlies in t'he eastern Atlantic as was tropical storm Opal and depressions Marge, Ruth, swept hurricane Flora rapidly nort'heastward. and Thelma (not shown).
