Summary:Update: The originally proposed language contained a range of season lengths and daily bag limits which are modified to identify specific season lengths and daily bag limits. There are two additional changes: 1) the Small Canada goose daily bag limit in the Northeastern Zone is recommended to be 1 per day rather than the range of 2- 6 per day that was proposed; and 2) the Balance of State Brant Special Management Area is recommended to open the second Saturday in November rather than the proposed opening date of November 7. The originally proposed regulatory language contained a range of season lengths and daily bag limits which were contingent upon the establishment of Federal framework regulations. These frameworks were established by the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service in late July and now specify the maximum season lengths and daily bag limits. The add'itional changes were made because I) the recommended change in bag limit for Small Canada geese in the Northeastern Zone was removed because the Pacific Flyway Council did not consider the change; and 2) public comments indicated a preference for the existing
