| Summary: | There have been significant milestones in GRUAN in the preceding 12 months. The GRUAN Guide and Manual have been finalized and an update of the Implementation Plan prepared. Data have been successfully reprocessed for the GRUAN Vaisala RS-92 product. Work has substantially advanced on bringing in data streams from lidars, frostpoint hygrometers and GNSS measurements. Ny-Ålesund “AWIPEV ” atmospheric observing station, operated by the German Alfred Wegener Institut (AWI) and the French Polar Institute Paul Emile Victor (IPEV) became the first contributing site to have a measurement programme successfully certified.
