Description
Summary:My research focuses on modelling atmospheric chemistry and aerosol interactions in the troposphere. Currently, I am working on understanding decadal trends in Short-Lived climate forcing species (Aerosols and Ozone) over the Arctic in the GEOS-Chem CTM. In the past I have used a detailed global chemistry and size resolved aerosol microphysics model to study oxidizing capacity and aerosol formation processes. I am also interested in understanding couplings and feedbacks in complex natural systems that affect the Earth’s climate and how these systems respond to changing anthropogenic and dynamic biogenic emissions of trace gases and aerosols. These chemistry-aerosol-climate interactions are a key area of research I want to develop in my future workPEER REVIEWED PUBLICATIONS
