Description
Summary:The present is a third report by the International Fisheries Commission upon scientific results obtained under the terms of the Convention of 1924 between the United States and Great Britain for the presen-ation of the halibut fishery of the Northern Pacific Ocean, including Bering Sea. It describes certain of the chemical methods used in obtaining the data dealt with in Report Number 4, by George F. McEwen, Thomas G. Thompson and Richard Van Cleve, which is a technical study of the rate and direction of those currents which affect the distribution of the eggs and larvae of the halibut in the Gulf of Alaska.
