Dunlop pers. comm.) • Employment for local residents including: two excavator operators; First Nations fisheries technicians, labour crew, and crew manager; survey crew; project manager; professional consultants (biologists, hydrologist, engineer); and truck drivers. • Some crew members were trained to survey, and fisheries technicians attended courses in electrofishing and fish habitat assessment. • KCFN Fisheries technician attends inspections, prescription site reconnaissance, KMB meetings, construction (fish salvage and suspended sediment), and structure monitoring Editor’s Note: This article is a synthesis of a number of project reports and documents which are referred to in the Reference section.
