Faraday rotation technique High latitude ionosphere NAVSTAR- GPS 21L ABSTRACT (Contmme am ree, in a It n~aeaar ad Idenutf by block numbet) A VHF electronic polarimeter for total electron content (TEC) measurements has been in operation at Tromso Telemetry Station (690 39'N, 18056'E) in Northern Norway for the period April 1980 to April 1981. The polariineter has been receiving data from the geostationary satellite SIRIO, which is situated almost due south of Tromso *- at 80 elevation.
