Summary:The aim of the article is to present the process of developing Greenlandic identity on the borderland of cultures and nations. The author, look at Greenlandic identity as a category, which is constantly evolving. The main thesis of the article is that Greenlandic identity was destroyed by the appointment of two different ethnic groups. This appointment started the process of deconstructing the traditional Inuit identity. The individual parts of the article discuss issues such as the components of the traditional Inuit identity and the factors of its development in the past. In the article, author used the text source analysis method and own research based on the SAWI method.
