Summary:This annual report presents the results from the sampling survey of fish populations and commercial fishery in the Gironde basin, in relation with the effect of the nuclear power plant. The scientific fishing operations in the estuary near the nuclear power plant have been carried out in 1998. The statistical monitoring of the commercial fishery in the estuary and the lower parts of Garonne and Dordogne rivers have concerned the 1996-1997 fishing season. / Ce rapport comprend 3 parties : une présentation générale du système fluvio-estuarien de la Gironde les résultats des pêches d'échantillonnage autour de la centrale nucléaire sur l'estuaire de la Gironde pour l'année 1998 les résultats du suivi statistique des captures dans le bassin de la Gironde (estuaire et partie basse des fleuves Garonne et Dordogne) pour la campagne 1996-1997.
