| Summary: | The object of the current study is to characterize the biological phases of the European eel (Anguilla anguilla L. 1758) in continental waters. The method is based on biometric and physiological (hormone rates) data measured on individuals that have been captured in the lake of Grand-Lieu. A double marking (Pit-tags and Alcyan blue) should permit an individual survey of eels in a natural environment exploited by professional fisheries. In addition, individual observations of eels in experimental conditions should give us more precise information on the evolution of the yellow to silver eel metamorphosis. / L'étude en cours vise à caractériser les stades biologiques de l'anguille européenne (Anguilla anguilla L. 1758) en eau continentale. Le protocole est basé sur des observations biométriques et physiologiques (taux d'hormones) d'individus capturés dans le lac de Grand-Lieu (Loire-Atlantique). Un double marquage (PITtag, bleu alcyan) doit permettre un suivi individuel en milieu naturel exploité par une pêcherie professionnelle. En condition expérimentale, un autre suivi complétera l'étude de la cinétique de la métamorphose des anguilles jaunes en anguilles argentées.
