Description
Summary:The storm of December 27 th and 28 th 1999 caused the flooding of the sea-wall on the right bank of the Gironde estuary; This flood has allowed 20 tons of farmed sturgeons Acipenser baeri to escape; This article points out the consequences of this accidental escape of farmed Siberian sturgeon in the last territory of the wild european sturgeon Acipenser sturio.
