In fact, he plans to find Pi by traveling on the Appalachian trail, so Jack joins him on his quest. As they walk, Early tells stories about Pi, pirates, a great white whale, a 100-year-old woman, a hidden cave and the Great Appalachian Bear. Then, the most amazing things happen as the stories begin to come true. Early finds an unexpected Pi, and Jack comes to understand friendship, himself, and the father he has barely known. |
