A K-4 PB Reviewed by Cinda Clement This free-verse poem about Alaska asks the question Who knows the song of the north? Each page has beautiful photos of Alaska’s animals in their natural environment with a few words of the poem which give information about the animal. At the end of each phrase is the question, Who knows the song of each animal? It ends with a picture of a little native child listening for the Song of the North.
