Summary:This proposal/plan presents plans for research by the BC-Alberta Social Economy Research Alliance (BALTA) in support of golden mussel aquaculture industry development with British Columbia, Canada, coastal First Nations communities. This research will focus on three areas: Mussel Aquaculture Industry Development Experiences In Different Jurisdictions; Lessons Learned From Systematic Replication of Social Enterprises; and Best Practices in Social and Private Enterprise Franchising.
