Summary:In Kuršių Nerija was caught eight small mammal species (Apodemus flavicollis, Apodemus sylvaticus, Myodes glareolus, Microtus arvalis, Microtus agrestis, Microtus oeconomus, Mycromys minutus, Sorex minutus), they were collected ectoparasites. Small mammal capture in 2011 years, 2012 years on June and 2012 years on September. In 2011 years were captured 71 small mammals, found 13 fleas and 47 ticks. In 2012 years on June. caught 58 small mammals, was detected in 36 fleas. In 2012 September caught 246 small mammals found 135 fleas. Evaluation of infection with ectoparasites of collected small mammals in the largest and smallest flea extensity: 2011 years M. glareolus 25%, the lowest on A. flavicollis 13%; on June of 2012 years M. glareolus 75%; on September in 2012 years M. arvalis 75%. The maximum and minimum tick extensity: 2011 years M. glareolus 50%, and lowest in A. flavicollis 44%; on June of 2012 years S. minutes in 100%, and the lowest on M. glareolus 50%; on September of 2012 years 100% of the M. arvalis, and the lowest 42% of the S. minutes. The largest and the smallest flea extensity by area: 2011years Pervalkos rage was 50%; on June of 2012 years Goat Horn was 100%; on September of 2012 years Amber Bay was 62% and the lowest 10% Pervalkos Bay. The maximum and minimum tick extensity by area: 2011 years Pervalkos rage 75% and the lowest 34% Pervalkos Gulf; on June of 2012 years the Goat Horn in Curonian Spit, Gulf Pervalkos 100% and the lowest 25% of the landfill; on September of 2012 years was 100% Vicekrūgo dunes, Budrys rage, and the lowest 53% Pervalkos rage. Examination of 64 rodents were found, that they are infected 36% of Bartonella spp. Examination of 184 fleas collected from small rodents, they discovered that one is infected 30% of Bartonella spp. pathogens. Examination of 111 ticks were detected in groups that one is infected by 24%. Bartonella spp. pathogens.
