Summary:This document presents a proposal for an Arctic Council ‘Cryosphere Project’ (SWIPA), in response to the decisions made during the SAO meeting in April 2007. Since April 2007, experts from the eight Arctic Countries and several relevant international organizations have further discussed and developed the content of the proposed project.
