Summary:This strategy was approved at the Stockholm Deputy Ministers' Meeting 15 May 2012. A new strategy replacing this original strategy was approved during the Portland SAO meeting in October 2016. The communication strategy for the Arctic Council should provide an overarching framework for all of the Arctic Council’s communication work. It should also provide a basis for individual Arctic Council actors (Member States, Permanent Participants and Working Groups) to undertake their communication activities.
