Description
Summary:This is a draft summary report of the Arctic Council Task Force on Short-Lived Climate Forcers. It is subject to further change before being finalized for the Arctic Council Ministerial meeting in May 2013. Some figures presented in this report, such as those from U.S. EPA for methane, are not yet final and should not be cited or quoted. This Task Force was established by the Arctic Council in 2009 and given an extended mandate in 2011 to “continue [its] work by focusing on methane and tropospheric ozone, as well as further black carbon work where necessary and provide a report to the next Ministerial meeting in 2013.”
