Summary:The second Coastal Expert Workshop took place in Anchorage, Alaska from October 11 – 13, 2017. Participants included Arctic Council State and Permanent Participant representatives, Indigenous Knowledge experts, scientists, and representatives from non-governmental organizations, academia, and government agencies. The workshop coincided with a CBMP Marine Steering Group (MSG) meeting to take advantage of marine expert knowledge and facilitate communication between the coastal and marine expert groups. Marine experts were invited to participate in those sessions of the Coastal workshop where their expertise was relevant to the FEC exercise being conducted.
