Description
Summary:This report is the implementation phase of the risk assessment methodologies to determine the physical and social aspects, and environmental impacts of the use of chlorine at the water treatment utility. This report presents findings of the risk assessment including measures to reduce risk, improve operational safety and enhance emergency prevention, preparedness, and response to hazardous chlorine processes and facilities. While assessing the risk, the typical accident scenarios, the reasons of their occurrence and the consequences were considered. Action item priority matrix (probability – consequence severity) was constructed to identify the most critical scenarios and due dates of performing the corrective actions.
