| Summary: | St. Pierre Bank stock assessment of the 2 pectinids Giant Sea Scallop (Placopecten magellanicus) and Icelandic Scallop (Chlamys islandica), as well as sea cucumber Cucumaria frondosa, both in the French-Canadian CORE area and in the southern zone of the French EEZ called "Corridor", was conducted in September 2005 onboard the Canadian oceanographic vessel CCGS Templeman. Main results of the assessment are presented here. L'évaluation des stocks de pectinidés, peigne de Magellan (Placopecten magellanicus) et pétoncle d'Islande (Chlamys islandica), ainsi que du concombre de mer Cucumaria frondosa du banc de Saint-Pierre, à la fois dans la zone franco-canadienne dite de la "Boite à pétoncles" que dans la zone sud de la ZEE française appelée "Corridor", a été mené en septembre 2005 à bord du navire océanographique canadien CCGS Templeman. Les principaux résultats de l'évaluation de ces stocks sont présentés dans ce rapport. |
