Le genre Acanthocope Beddard (Isopode Asellote) : description de deux espèces nouvelles. Remarques taxinomiques et biogéographiques

Two new species of the deep-sea genus Acanthocope (A. carinata n. sp. et A. annata n. sp.) were collected in the North Atlantic abyssal plain. Phenetic relationships between the 10 species of this genus are studied utilising 34 morphological features by way of a numerical taxonomic approach (cluster...

Description
Summary:Two new species of the deep-sea genus Acanthocope (A. carinata n. sp. et A. annata n. sp.) were collected in the North Atlantic abyssal plain. Phenetic relationships between the 10 species of this genus are studied utilising 34 morphological features by way of a numerical taxonomic approach (cluster and principal components analysis). Results are discussed through biogeographical considerations.
