SUMMARY Within this study, the opinions put forward by the orientalists and related to the collection and the reproduction of Quran were examined with a critical approach. In the introduction part of the study, the topic of the thesis, its purpose, its significance and the method pursued through the study process were cited The study composes of three chapters. In the first chapter, the subject of the collection of Quran and its reproduction were examined In the second chapter, opinions of orientalists connected with the colection of Quran and its reproduction were mentioned The second chapter was formed by following the first chapter's systematic. Therefore, different kind of approaches of orientalists relevant to Quran's emergence in the Prophet's period, its collection in the Ebubekir' s period and its reproduction in the Osman' s period were examined In the third chapter, approaches of orientalists were studied on the light of the Islamic datas, scientific criteria, objective understanding. In this chapter, we have especially tried to show to a what extent the claims of orientalists on integrity of Quran councide with the scientific realities. The results reached at the end of the study were given in the conclusion as a summary. The study was completed through giving bibliography.
