Summary: | No issues were encountered with this dataset. GPS data were recorded on the Sonobuoy Workstation as daily text files containing the raw NMEA 0183 sentences from an independent Garmin GPS receiver located at the acoustic workstation. The sonobuoy workstation recorded both the NMEA feed from the FV Amaltal Explorer and the GPS data from this independed Garmin Receiver. The Ship's NMEA feed was used by PAMGuard to display the ship's position, while these data from the independent Garmin receiver were used by the Acoustic Localisation Software, difarBSM, to display the location of the ship, sonobuoys, and acoustic localisations. |
