Description
Summary:A spatially explicit database of Antarctic biota. Taxa range from microbes to vertebrates and cover the entire ice-free area of the Antarctic continent. Records in this database were originally sourced from the SCAR Biodiversity Database and under AAS project 4296. Thousands of records have been added over the life of the project and all records have been checked for spatial accuracy and taxonomic consistency. Spatial duplicates have also been removed.
