| Summary: | This register was created to record those documents to which the common seal of the Railway Construction and Property Board was affixed. Typical sealed documents were: Transfers of Land, Contracts of Sale, etc. The Railway Construction and Property Board existed from 1980 to 1983. It is possible that there was a preceding volume to the one in this series that covered the period from 1980 to June 1982, however there is no evidence of its existence. The register can also act as an index to the Orders in Council of the Railway Construction and Property Board (VPRS 17041). The register lists the date and description of documents in chronological order. The descriptions are only a brief, single sentence, summary of the documents. Most documents listed are transactions that relate to land, and include the dollar amount of the transaction. There are however a few agreements listed that are not related to land. |
