Description
Summary:Progress Code: completed Maintenance and Update Frequency: asNeeded Statement: Processing Comments: The drop keels were completely raised to the maintenance position so the thermosalinograph (TSG) wasn’t recording during the transit as the water intake is on the port keel, therefore there is no salinity or water temperature data. All Aerosol and Air-Chemistry inlet tubes were covered for protection during the dry-docking. Appendix 1 indicates which parameters were not recorded on this transit. Credit Data processed by Bernadette Heany (CSIRO O&A) Credit This data was collected on the Marine National Facility (MNF) RV Investigator voyage IN2016_T03 This record describes the Underway (UWY) data collected from the Marine National Facility (MNF) RV Investigator Voyage IN2016_T03 titled: "Transit Brisbane to Sydney." The voyage took place between November 18 and November 21, 2016 departing from Brisbane (QLD) and arriving in Sydney (NSW). Standard Underway data is continuously recorded, consisting of: (1) NAV: Navigation data: (dual GPS) Latitude, Longitude, Speed, Heading, course over ground, Gyros, and Doppler Log. (2) TSG: Thermosalinograph: Water Salinity, flow-rate, Temperature, Fluorescence, and pCO2. (3) MET: Atmospheric (port and starboard): Humidity, Wind speed and direction (vane and ultrasonic), Radiometer, Pyranometer, PAR, Air temperature, Air pressure, Rain, Ozone and Trace gases. Data are recorded at 5 second intervals. Near real-time data is available via the link below. This dataset will be processed and archived within the CSIRO Oceans & Atmosphere Data Centre in Hobart. Data is available in 5sec intervals in NetCDF, 10 sec and 5 min intervals in ascii format. Additional information regarding this dataset is contained in the cruise report for this voyage and/or the data processing report.
