Description
Summary:Note - these data should be used with caution. The chief investigator for the dataset has indicated that a better quality dataset exists, but the AADC have been unable to attain it for archive. Better quality data may be available from the SIPEX II metadata records by Steve Warren. Net radiation (Shortwave, Longwave down and up). Measured using a Kipp and Zonen CNR4 net radiometer, logged by a Campbell Scientific CR1000 datalogger (s/n E-3964-E8876). Always oriented facing north and away from tall obstacles (such as the ship), mounted at approximately 2m above the snow.
