Description
Summary:The Glaciology program for 1988/89 consisted of studies of the dynamics and mass flux of the Lambert Glacier in the vicinity of the grounding line between the Lambert and Amery Ice Shelf, and of the ice shelf and tributary glaciers at the confluence of the Scylla and Charybdis Glaciers with the Amery Ice Shelf. A report was written summarising the work carried out, along with summaries of the results. Snow accumulation rates, gravity measurements, preliminary ice depths, and flight summaries were all included. This report is archived at the Australian Antarctic Division.
