Description
Summary:This dataset is differentially corrected GPS data resulting from a survey of the quarry face at Casey station on 10 February 2013. The survey was done by Dan Jones, Bec McWatters and Johan Mets of the Australian Antarctic Division (AAD) at the request of the AAD's Infrastructure Engineer, David Waterhouse. The GPS data was post processed and provided to the Australian Antarctic Data Centre by Dan Wilkins of the Australian Antarctic Division. The data is provided in spreadsheet and shapefile format. Dan Wilkins also produced a map for AAD internal purposes of the quarry area showing the data. The map is map number 14217 in the AAD's map catalogue. AAD staff who require a copy of the map should contact the Australian Antarctic Data Centre. Included with the data are some quarry reference points surveyed in the same way by Dan Wilkins on 13 February 2012 at the request of Mark Byrne.
