Summary:Alistair Grinbergs (Heritage Officer) was on Heard island in January and February 2000) as part of the 2000 ANARE, to make an assessment of the heritage value of the old ANARE station ruins. This GPS survey data of the corners of buildings and other artefacts will form part of the record of the station site, together with drawings and other measurements. The assessment will be used to formulate a conservation management plan for the site.
