Description
Summary:Progress Code: onGoing Maintenance and Update Frequency: asNeeded Statement: Quality code flags have been applied to the data within the Warehouse. For details of these flags see the 'Data Download Format Document' documentation link. When data is downloaded via the Data Trawler it is delivered with all relevant quality control flags. Data processing has been carried out on the data within the Warehouse. Relevant processing reports are available by looking at the MarLIN records for individual datasets which are stored in the Warehouse. MarLIN record identifiers are delivered in the download files from the Warehouse data access tool, the Data Trawler, and these id's can be used to readily view the relevant MarLIN record. The CMAR Data Warehouse is an spatially enabled Oracle data repository which contains survey underway, CTD data, hydrological (bottle sample) data, biological catch data from Divisional research vessels, and data from other sources as presently held in the Division's archive. There are GIS layers covering a range of themes obtained from WA agencies and Industry for use in the NWSJEMS project available only to NWSJEMS researchers. Moored instrument data from CMAR research deployments contain currents for various ocean regions. On-line access to this data is usually with the CMAR Data Trawler (see Marlin record 6389), a Java application developed under the auspices of the North West Shelf Joint Environmental Management Study (NWSJEMS) and the CMAR Data Centre. Public users have only limited access to Warehouse content.
