Summary:Statement: Aanderaa RCM5 current meters Purpose After completion of the World Ocean Circulation Experiment (WOCE) project the data were made available to the public. Data from moorings that were in place for at least 6 months in deep water and include meteorological data, pressure records and temperature records gathered by the Oregon State University (OSU) Buoy Group over a span of more than 35 years. In addition, included are a number of electronic (i.e., browser-formatted) data reports. This dataset relates to current meter records from the STORMS: NE Pacific (a joint OSU/SIO (Scripps Institution of Oceanography) experiment in the NE Pacific).
