Description
Summary:Statement: These data were recorded by Aanderaa RCM4 and RCM5 current meters, and by Aanderaa dataloggers. Accessions 8001, 8002, 8003, 8004, and 8005 are from meteorological buoys equipped with Aanderaa dataloggers that measured wind speed and direction, air temperature, and surface water temperature. Wind speed, wind direction and air temperature were measured at a height of about 2m. Data from moorings that were in place for at least 6 months in deep water and include meteorological data, pressure records and temperature records gathered by the Oregon State University (OSU) Buoy Group over a span of more than 35 years. In addition, included are a number of electronic (i.e., browser-formatted) data reports. This dataset relates to current meter records from Phase 2 of the Oregon Coastal Upwelling Experiment.
