Description
Summary:This catalogue entry links to all carbohydrate(glycan) structues published for the species URSUS MARITIMUS and/or containing this keyword sourced from GlycoSuiteDB. GlycoSuiteDB contains O-linked and N-linked glycans manually annotated from the literature between the years 1990-2005 and information is available describing glycan type, linkage and anomeric configuration, mass and composition. Further information on native and recombinant sources, including tissue and/or cell type, cell line, strain and disease state is provided on the relevant GlycoSuiteDB pages. The Swiss Institute of Bioinformatics is pleased to announce the re-launch of GlycoSuiteDB, a product of Tyrian Diagnostics Ltd (formerly Proteome Systems Ltd). Thanks to this collaboration the glycan database is available in open access on the ExPASy website. The content of the database was transcribed as is. It will soon evolve through collaborative work with glycobiologists including Prof. N. Packer who initiated the GlycoSuiteDB project.
