Description
Summary:GPS daily files in RINEX v2 format with International GNSS Service format log files in a single tar file. Files are compressed using gzip after 'Hatanaka' compression. Compression information: Yuki Hatanaka (hatagsi.go.jp) (GSI) wrote and maintains rnx2crx and crx2rnx, which allows the user to compress/decompress, respectively, a RINEX observation file into a smaller ASCII format. The Hatanaka-compressed ASCII format version of a RINEX observation file is frequently used in conjunction with the UNIX compress, zip, gzip or other generalized compression utilities to create a very small file for Internet transfer. Compression information: open utlities rnx2crx and crx2rnx allow the user to compress/decompress, respectively, a RINEX observation file into a smaller ASCII format. The Hatanaka-compressed ASCII format version of a RINEX observation file is compressed here with gzip. RINEX files are stored in the following structure within the tar file. ./YYYY/DDD/YYt/mmmmDDD#.YYt.gz YYYY=4-digit year DDD=3-digit day of year mmmm=4-char site name #='0' YY=2-digit year t='o' IGS log files are in ./logs Approximate site locations are given below in units of decimal degrees (WGS84) as (latitude longitude) pairs: CAD1 approx coordinates only - Carey Ntk - as no data yet downloaded CAD2 -68.566510985 86.100627506 Mt Brown, new site established under this project CAD3 -66.521103808 96.363667501 Gillies Island, new site established under this project CAD4 -67.419656438 99.143785987 Mt Strathcona, new site established under this project CAD5 -66.552475869 107.764024273 Snyder Rocks, new site established under this project CAD6 -66.789282506 120.990964280 Chick Island, new site established under this project BHIL -66.251024752 100.599006649 Bunger Hills site, originally established by Geoscience Australia Data spans December 2015 to Jan 2019 but exact durations depend on the site.
