Summary:The 'Extra-Australian flora of the N.C.W. Beadle Herbarium' collection aims to contribute to the discovery, description and analysis of global plant diversity, through collection, exchange, curation and study of high quality herbarium specimens and associated activities and collections based at the N.C.W. Beadle Herbarium. This collection includes approximately 4,000 specimens. Among the collection are approximately 1,850 species and over 700 genera. Specimens have been collected in 70 countries outside of Australia. These include: Algeria, Argentina, Austria, Belize, Bolivia, Brazil, Cambodia, Cameroon, Canada, Chile, China, Colombia, Congo, The Democratic Republic Of The, Costa Rica, Cuba, Denmark, Dominican Republic, Ecuador, Egypt, Fiji, Finland, France, French Guiana, Germany, Ghana, Gold Coast, Greenland, Guatemala, Guyana, India, Indonesia, Italy, Jamaica, Japan, Lesotho, Liberia, Malawi, Malaysia, Mexico, Morocco, Mozambique, Netherlands, New Caledonia, New Zealand, Nigeria, Northern Rhodesia, Norway, Papua New Guinea, Paraguay, Peru, Philippines, Portugal, Puerto Rico, Singapore, South Africa, Spain, Sri Lanka, Switzerland, Tanganyika, Tanzania, United Republic Of, Thailand, Tonga, Trinidad And Tobago, United Kingdom, United States of America, Uruguay, Venezuela, Zaire, Zambia, Zimbabwe. The specimen sheet collection of the N.C.W. Beadle Herbarium is databased and available to registered users for online data entry and data query.
