Says that hunter do leave notes for others on trails. Discusses role of dogs, use of dogs wool. Gives particular dogs' names and their owners and tribes. Will work on question of different meaning and translations of Indian names. Gives lengthy example of the name q!om'xālāgEles. Finished a map of Dzawadi River with locations of olachen traps. Talked with head chief Maxwayaledze of Ma'amtagila for the names of traps, but he could only remember two.
