Description
Summary:This data set contains measurements of oceanographic conditions from the fishing vessel F/V Aldebaran in the Bering Sea during the winter Pollock A Season fishery and National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) summer bottom trawl survey. These measurements include water temperature, salinity and chlorophyll concentration in water pumped from the ship's sea chest at 3-meter depth. The maps show temperature, salinity, and the chlorophyll-a concentration along the ship track. Data were collected from January 2010 through March 2010 for the winter cruise and from June 2010 through July 2010 for the summer cruise.
